So, what is this site and you all about?

Things I hope for:(starters list)

• Forums:
  • I hope to see the forums gain trafic, I know I'm not the only "old puter" lover out here.
  • I hope some well qualified ppl also frequent the forums to help people with less experience and help us preserve the "heritage" that old computers are, and help maintain a high level on security discussions.
  • I hope to make the forums searchable with htdig--update, they are now searchable

• NewsPro Part:
  • I hope to see user submissions to the newspro part
  • I hope to see user submitted ideas for reviews
  • I hope to get more editors
  • I hope to average posting at _least_ one review or article a week
  • I hope to see more comments

• Stories part:
  • I hope to see user interaction
  • I hope to see good stories here

• Outdoors Part:
  • I hope to get tricks from users, and to provide a nice exchange of experiences and ideas as well as knowledge.
  • I hope to make it as amusing, informing and useful as possible.
  • I hope to very soon fill it in more :-)

• Cooking part:
  • I would like to put up some international recepies, both user submitted(to the forum) and from my own collection.
  • I'd like feedback on the recepies put up here.
  • I'd like some general "kitchen tricks" posted too.
  • When the bbs goes online again to keep the bbs cooking area and this cooking area somewhat synchronized. There might be a perl project there *G*

• Do-It-Yourself part:
  • To put up small Do-It-Yourself projects and ideas.
  • User interaction through the forums and email.
  • I'd like to see some hints trick and experiences, and warnings "I tried this and I found that an easier way."
  • To put up a large amount of the experience I gained as mechanic at Astorps motor o cykel and bicycle world - lake worth.

• Security part:
  • I hope to have User interaction
  • I hope to help to provide some answers to some of the questions on security some people may have.
  • Go into forensics, pentesting and security

• Devel:
  • I hope to educate or at least give some people a laugh.
  • I hope that someone might find something I've done useful.
  • Re evaluate my bash 101 and write my perl one as I learn perl.

• Diary: I write this one because _I_ have to, if you want to read it, that is up to you.

• Entire site, to become compliant with html fully, supporting not only old browsers but also speech browsers and other tags(like img alt) (this is work in progress)

• I hope to get feed back on how to make this place a nicer place to hang out or find information, for both you and me

Oh boy, I'd say read my diary, but I realize it's a big read.

so..I'm a person who has been interested in computers since 1980, other interests include music (can't play well tho, nor sing) cactii, mountain biking, palm trees, herbs, archery, blow guns, computers, my lady, reading (mostly sci-fi, fantasy, or fact).

I'm opinionated, sar-caus-tic (yes caustically sarcastic), ironic, cynical. My patience when helping people is directly connected to how much the person i try to help is trying.

I suppose some people reading my diary might suspect me of being anti-american, or anti this or anti that, wrong!

I am pro american, I'm pro swedish, pro european (anti eec) pro scania and pro any country allowing free thought. however I early on made the option of keeping my site in english, so the articles and editorials I write against swedish problems and mess ups don't make it in here. I cannot translate them and even if I could they would demand so much background it would be a full time job just there

I am anti "unfairness" and I define unfairness as "different rules for different people in the same situation", ie if you hit me, I don't care if you are black, white or limegreen and purple polka dotted, american, from india or sweden, you should get the same punishment as I would for hitting you.
