Suffered slightly from battery "flaw" so removed battery, and placed in safer place
it has been revived, it had a slight problem that was a resistor that had burned out
(probably due to keyboard problems), upon replacing that, everything works

got this one for free :-)) at moment lacks power supply unit
Powersupply aquired, diagnostics run, all is ingay-ochai :-) cept for rtc battery
New antenna cable and sound->rf modulator cables made (i didn't get any when i got this amiga)
i'll need to replace the cr2032 on supra board if i want it to keep proper time even when puter is off,
battery replaced with cr2032 holder and new battery
Tips n Trix:
A2000, well it's mostly worked since i kept my programs around
i did have one unpacker (lha) and powerpacker and a terminal program w zmodem
so i went to aminet.net and got busy, check different
packers/compressors/texteditors/terminal progs/blablablabla find what you like
me i stick with jr-comm and ncomm (now freeware *smiles*) ncomm is too large
and messy for normal terminal usage but the scripting in it is used in my
move my amiga disks to pc so i can burn out *_adf.zip files
programs to look for:
Zshell i cannot stress this one too much, since makes amigados easier to handle
powerpacker and imploder (crunches executable files in size)(with libs)
pploadseg
lha and lharc
texted (small texteditor)
jr-comm terminal program
climate (i know it's overly pretty and large but i LIKE it)
transdisk (can read and write entire disks to file) for adf up/down loads
hardware "lookouts" well DO check the battery on motherboard for leakage
if it looks "mouldy" ya are in trouble, if it doesn't prevent it by getting
someone skilled at soldering to remove it and place wires to a new battery placed

do NOT plug anything into your amiga while it's powered on
someone doing this to my amiga cost me months of bother looking/diagnosing
and finding 8520 (serial controller chip)
nor should you believe EVERYthing you read(even here *LOL*), cross referance, check
double check, tripple check, check against common sense, check with others
SHEESH find someone still using puter and ASK!!!
in some cases once blown you might as well junk it or strip it for parts
A500 no hw used yet..will solder on new battery, software from a2000B
