What is this text area (hardware hacks) about

gosh it's in the title!!!
so what is a hardware hack...well that's a bit more of a problem to define
personally i say anything the slightest bit of an "macguyverism-ish"
for instance, your floppy dropped the lil "folding lid"
in your floppy there were 2 plastic bits that made the hinge
these got broken, you put a metallic wire there instead

example of a small hardware "repair"
if it's clever it's also called a hack (well all can be called that)
refurbish/restore battery pack for a laptop...counts
so on so on
make a nullmodem?, counts
make an rs232 tester, counts
see...so much can count
made a clever cooling arrangement?
did something clever to a puter or accessory?
it's a hardware hack..post it and inform others :-)
